The Strong Start Learning Programme is a 24-week journey designed to build your child’s confidence and core skills in reading, language, and communication. Delivered in focused 6-week blocks, each phase of the programme builds on key literacy skills including phonics, vocabulary, comprehension, creative language and storytelling.

At the start of the programme, your child will complete a short, friendly literacy check-in to help us place them in the most suitable group. Each session is 45 minutes long and is focused, engaging, and built to support steady, confident progress.

We track their learning journey on a Personal Literacy Tracker, updated regularly to reflect their growth and goals. You’ll receive a progress update at the end of every 6-week block so you always know how your child is doing, what they’ve achieved, and how we’re continuing to support their development.

All sessions are delivered online in small groups of up to 6 children, creating a calm, interactive learning space where your child feels seen, supported, and heard. The small group setting also encourages discussion, collaboration, and shared learning, all key parts of literacy development.
